FESTIVAL NÓMADE. UN FESTIVAL PARA UN TERRITORIO

ANCESTRAL VARIETIES TASTING

FINCA TORREFIEL

We invite you to a very special tasting in a place full of history, Finca Torrefiel. Have you heard of the La Arcos de Miguel grape? Here you will be able to taste a wine made with this type of grape native to the Levante region, almost extinct and now recovered.

Arcos de Miguel is a red grape variety originally from the wine-growing regions of Valencia and Alicante. A very versatile variety that is being revived.

The young red wines from Valencia made from Arcos de Miguel grapes have a single varietal vocation, although to reinforce the body of the wine, contributions of Tempranillo or Cabernet Sauvignon varieties are added. In this way the wine can also be aged in oak barrels.

Other names of the Arcos de Miguel variety are: Juan Ibáñez, Concejón and Moristel. Come and discover these ancestral wines!
